SPARK!Fishers Parade Information

Good afternoon RCG families! I hope you are having a wonderful summer so far! In preparation for the Spark!Fishers Parade this Saturday, please read through all the important details below. Also, please find 3 links (Parade Details Outline, Parade Marshaling Map, Parade Route Map) with information sent directly from the Spark!Fishers parade organizers.

REHEARSE & LOAD: We will rehearse this Saturday, June 29th from 10:00am-Noon to prepare for the parade. We will then load the small trailer with any equipment that cannot be loaded into individual vehicles and dismiss when we are finished loading. No meal will take place during rehearsal, so plan on eating a healthy breakfast beforehand and lunch afterwards.

SHIRTS: Shirts to wear for the parade (brand new design) will be distributed Saturday morning at rehearsal to every student. Students should wear shorts (any color) and comfortable tennis shoes with these shirts as their parade attire.

REPORT FOR PARADE: Report time is 5:30pm. We will NOT be taking buses. Everyone needs to meet AT THE PARADE SITE individually. Per the attached information, rather than allowing personal vehicles to drop off at LAUNCH Fishers, they are mandating that everyone drop off at Forum Conference Center (11313 USA Pkwy.) and take a shuttle. Shuttles will be available from 4:00-6:30pm from Forum to LAUNCH. We will then congregate as a group at LAUNCH (look for our small RCG trailer) and line up for the parade, which begins at 7:00pm.

PICK-UP: Students will need to load the trailer first before being dismissed. A shuttle will be running participants back to Forum for pick-up. If an immediate pick-up is necessary, parking is available in the Al Huda lot at Sunblest and Lantern. Please also take note of pickup locations as designated on the attached map.

FORMS: All students must complete a digital Fishers Parks and Recreation 2019 Waiver, found here: https://townoffishers.formstack.com/forms/summer_event_waiver

Students also must have an HSE Band Department Health Form completed and turned into us prior to the parade on Saturday. This health form is on our website and was part of the registration process:
