The Royal Command & Guard: 2008 season
Welcome to the virtual home of Hamilton
Southeastern High School's Royal Command & Guard. The Royal Command & Guard is the most
dynamic of the after-school ensembles. The marching band rehearses three times per week during the fall
semester, performs for all home varisty football games, and competes on Saturdays in band
competitions sanctioned by the Mid-States Band Association,
which includes marching bands from Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. In 2007, the RCG was named the Mid-States
Band Association Class 2A Grand Champion. During the 2008 season, the Royal Command & Guard will compete in
Class 4A. The band's show this season is titled "The Door That Leads To You" and features the music of The Beatles.
During the 2008 marching band season, Hamilton Southeastern
High School Bands will host the 2nd Annual Hamilton Southeastern Royal Invitational on Saturday, September 20. This
Midstates Band Association sanctioned competition will feature marching bands from Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.
